The quaint little town by the Haw River, Saxapahaw NC, has a weekly farmer’s market and live music every Saturday from May-August. This Saturday, the Farmer’s Market runs from 5-8pm, with music from 6-8pm. The weekly festival introduces many different types of easy listening music. The Farmer’s market has a huge variety including local produce, cheese, eggs, baked goods, flowers, honey, organic meat, local wine, and arts and crafts! They also have activities for the kids to do while you’re shopping.

Fortunately, Saxapahaw Saturdays are at night and you have the opportunity to venture out through the Farmer’s Market that’s not an early weekend morning like most local Farmer’s Markets. Admission is free for this event and is always a wonderful time to venture out into a different part of the Triangle! Saxapahaw is just 17 miles west of Chapel Hill, by way of NC-54.
