This Sunday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, they will host the fourth annual Field of Hope baseball game. The game benefits the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, and is presented by UNC Health Care.

Kay Yow fought breast cancer for twenty two years, and passed away in 2009. The goal of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund is to end women’s cancers. Since the fund started in 2007, $5.38 million has been granted for scientific research focused on women’s cancers. The REX Mobile Mammography Unit will be parked past the outfield to bring mammograms to medically underserved women.

Support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, and enjoy a fun night of baseball as the Bulls play against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, Sunday at 5pm. Tickets are $15.
