I love the sounds and lifestyle of the Triangle, whether it’s conversation and laughter at the trendiest spots on Ninth Street in Durham, or the happy faces taking in the sites of downtown Raleigh. All of this is music to my ears. Nonetheless, the real beauty of the Triangle lies just several miles from our cityscapes. History is intertwined throughout Wake Forest, Wendell, and lives on in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough. Beauty is found in the quaint shops and well known streets that have become home to so many of us. The Triangle brings me back home to my childhood – days spent in upstate New York, only to later enjoy relaxing nights around a fire with my family.
Small town charm is certainly at our fingertips in Apex, Holly Springs, and Fuquay Varina – where local boutiques, family-owned restaurants, and festivals make these towns so special.
We are so blessed to be living, and I mean truly living, in and amongst one of the most desirable places in the country. How lucky are we to be able to call the Triangle home?
I speak of our area with a certain urgency to go out and explore the gifts that we’ve been given right here at home. Whether that means exploring nature at one of the area’s parks or heading to the Pit for a night out on the town, you can’t go wrong with the Triangle.
Start by touring houses from our Parade of Homes running from September 30-October 1, 6-8, and 13-15 from 12pm-5pm, or just get out and explore the local festivals, restaurants, greenways, and much more.
