Meritage Homes is currently one of the nation’s top 10 homebuilders, according to reports from Builder Magazine. The company is also the seventh-largest public home builder in the country. And as of recently, the builder has renewed its exclusive agreement with Whirlpool Corporation that will keep Amana®, Whirlpool®, Maytag®, KitchenAid® and Jenn-Air® brand home appliances in its new homes nationwide. This four-year agreement puts Whirlpool in a good position to keep providing the industry with energy-efficient appliances in homes that are known for their distinct style and quality construction.

In 2016, Meritage saw two major achievements while already working with Whirlpool that included the supply of its 100,000th new home, as well as its LiVE.NOW new home brand that aims to target first-time home buyers. Aside from this, Meritage also received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR ® Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence Award again for the fourth time since 2013.
