With all sorts of personalities and traits, women all over the Triangle area get to show off their hard work, intelligence, resilience, ambition, education, and more on a daily basis. And what better way to celebrate women than to hold a show for women themselves? Beginning April 21, the Southern Women’s Show is coming to the North Carolina State Fairgrounds for the weekend. With speakers and exhibitors centered around women, you’ll find everything that you could possibly want and appreciate during this show.

Did you watch the Olympics in Rio this year as Laurie Hernandez took home both Silver and Gold medals at 16-years-old? The Olympic Gymnast will be at the Southern Women’s Show on Saturday, April 22 where she will be speaking on stage and signing autographs afterward.
Better known as Toby Cavanaugh to Pretty Little Liars fans, Allen will be on stage on Sunday, April 23 at 1:30 pm to answer questions about the series finale that occurred back in April. Fans will also have the chance to get Allen’s autograph when he’s done speaking.
Aside from these two special guests, be on the lookout for Donna E. Corbett who launched Amazing Grace Etiquette in 2003, the Tiara Twins from Toddlers and Tiaras, WRAL-TV personalities, and North Carolina’s professional soccer teams.

No show is complete without the food that comes along with it, which is why several vendors will be on site to showcase their food and drink. In particular, Got to Be NC will host a pavilion with local, fresh products from vendors that are based here in the Tarheel State. Highlighting everything from beauty to fashion to jewelry and lifestyle, the Southern Women’s Show will have more than 100 exhibitors eager to showcase their products created with women in mind. Stop by the Belk pavilion or head to the Urban Decay booth to stock up on your favorite Naked palette.
There will also be an Etsy pavilion, featuring those that sell exclusively on the popular homemade website.
