* A letter from the Publisher*

Hi all,

I’m pleased to announce that our very own Kendra Stowe has been promoted within to New Point Media Group’s corporate office. She will be moving to Atlanta in two weeks. I say this with excitement, because Kendra will continue to support New Homes & Ideas Magazine as she always has, but with more responsibility on the corporate end.

Although many of you have come to know Kendra well over the past year, I hope that you can all understand this is the best move for her professionally. We wanted to keep her within the company, and that’s exactly what we got. It makes me proud to know that corporate recognized the hard work Kendra did, and wanted to reward her for it.

With that being said, I want to welcome Kristin Dixon to the team as our newest hire in replacing Kendra’s position.

Kristin Dixon joins New Homes and Ideas Magazine as the Digital Content Marketer, where she will be managing all aspects of NewHomesandIdeas.com, as well as social media promotional efforts.

As a 2017 graduate of NC State University, Dixon was heavily involved in YoungLife, where she volunteered each week to mentor high school girls at Apex High. She was the team leader for Apex High, where they planned weekly events, fundraising efforts, and summer camp trips.

During her time at NC State, Dixon worked with various local small businesses to help improve their events, marketing, and web sites. Such businesses included: 110 Yoga, Soul Searchers Yoga, Greenhouse Picker Sisters Specialty Rentals, and several local musicians.

Occasionally she can be found working with local Raleigh-based hair and makeup artists where she specializes in bridal hair and makeup and travels to many different popular venues in the Triangle. She has worked with several well-known local artists, such as LULA Hair and Makeup, Joanne Maye Makeup Artistry, and Parlor Blow Dry Bar.

Dixon hopes to bring her broad experience and network to expose New Homes and Ideas to a new crowd of readers by exhibiting all of the wonderful people and businesses that the Triangle has to offer. Through her adaptability and diligence, Dixon strives to always make relationships and value intentionality in her work and environment.

Sincerely,

Jodi M. Sauerbier, Publisher – New Homes & Ideas Magazine
