Pulte Homes to Tee up for N.C. Children’s Promise

Pulte Homes of Raleigh will host its first ever Pulte Homes Charity Golf Classic benefiting the N.C. Children’s Promise, a nonprofit organization supporting the N.C. Children’s Hospital on September 15, 2008 held at Devils Ridge Country Club in Holly Springs.

The N.C. Children’s Promise is a year-round fundraising campaign that includes numerous events, projects and partnerships throughout the community. Its mission is to secure financial and community resources to provide comprehensive, family-centered healthcare for the children of North Carolina and surrounding states. Through unrestricted funding, the N.C. Children’s Promise can:

· Provide advanced, comprehensive care to children from all 100 counties in North Carolina, regardless of their families’ abilities to pay
· Maintain a family-focused, child-friendly environment, while providing state-of-the-art care for children with complex and life-threatening health problems; and
· Continue cutting-edge research that assures new discoveries for treating childhood diseases.

The N.C. Children’s Promise has been the charity of choice for Pulte Homes for the past two years. In addition to providing volunteers and support at the annual N.C. Children’s Promise radiothon/telethon, Pulte has also sponsored a “Buy Your Way Out of Work” day each year to the Raleigh division. All Raleigh Pulte employees can “buy” their way out of work the day before Thanksgiving by making a donation to the N.C. Children’s Promise.
