About the Product: LED Lighting Fixtures, Inc. (LLF) is proud to introduce what is the longest-lasting, most energy efficient downlight ever made. It’s a once in a generation breakthrough that delivers the warmth and luxurious color of incandescent lamps along with all the cost savings and other benefits of eco-friendly LED technology. The LR6 is a downlight module for new construction and retrofit that installs easily in most standard six inch recessed IC or non-IC housings. The LR6 generates white light with LED’s in a new way that enables an unprecedented combination of light output, energy efficiency, beautiful color, and affordability. The LR6 lasts more than 20 years (50,000 hours) under normal use, which makes life simpler—especially in hard-to-reach installations. The quality of light from the LR6 is unmatched; there’s no harsh glare, just warm, beautiful light. Unlike incandescent fixtures, the LR6 is comfortable to the touch. So it helps keep things cool in the kitchen and throughout a home. The LR6 also helps lower costs; with typical use the product more than pays for itself in electricity savings. LLF is a privately held company headquartered near Research Triangle Park (RTP). LLF currently uses XRE LEDs manufactured by Cree, Inc. for its products, which is also a RTP-based company. LR6 Downlight Module is featured in the Bost Custom Home’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Showcase for a Cure home.
