The Durham Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) united on Friday, October 19th at Habitat for Humanity Durham’s newest community Hope Crossing. This unique community, located in East Durham, is the first affordable housing development in North Carolina to feature “green” building techniques.
With the help of women from the PWB, house wrap and windows were installed on the two-story home to accomplish the goal of a finished house in six weeks.
On November 10th the house was dedicated to Joyce Ragland on behalf of the Durham Habitat for Humanity.
