More than 140 golfers from across the Triangle gathered Monday, November 12th at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in south Raleigh to tee off for Cystic Fibrosis.
Sponsored by Perry Builders, the second annual Lauren’s Hope: Golf Fore Cystic Fibrosis raised nearly $17,000 for six-year-old Cystic Fibrosis patient Lauren Stone. Perry Builders donated the entire amount raised during the tournament to help offset the cost of medical care in Lauren’s fight against the lung disease.
“One of the goals of this year’s tournament was to assist in turning Lauren’s dreams of living a productive life into reality,” said Perry. “We are incredibly proud of Lauren’s Hope. The tournament has successfully provided a worthwhile forum for Perry Builders’ employees, vendors, contractors, subcontractors and other local builders to give back to their community in a fun, relaxed and engaging way. We are very grateful for all the support we received that will go a long way to improving the quality of life for little Lauren.”
“Lauren remains our greatest blessing,” said Jack Stone, Lauren’s father. “We could not have made it through this alone. The tremendous support that our family has received is well beyond anything we could have imagined. We will continue to remember in our prayers Ryan Perry, Perry Builders and all the supporters of Lauren’s Hope. In turn, our family asks that you join us in praying for a cure for this disease.”
