Woman’s Club of Raleigh teams up with the ASID for 2008 Showhouse

2008 ASID ShowcaseOnce again the Woman’s Club of Raleigh (WCR) has partnered with the Carolinas Chapter of the American Society for Interior Design (ASID) to present the WCR 2008 ASID Designer Showhouse which will be held May 10 through June 1 at Ramblewood at North Hills.

The Carolinas Chapter ASID held a lottery drawing to choose which ASID members would  decorate the two Ramblewood townhomes. Each designer will make over a specific space in one of the homes. With 24 designer spaces, this project will truly be a treat for the eyes.  The Showhouse townhomes in Ramblewood at North Hills are located at 3615 and 3611 Rolston Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609.

The finished townhomes will be open to the public from May 10 to June 1, 2008. The 2008 Showhouse viewing hours are Monday - Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door. Proceeds from the WCR 2008 ASID Designer Showhouse will benefit Hospice of Wake County as well as other community organizations and programs supported by the Woman’s Club of Raleigh.

WCR is a non-profit corporation that has provided volunteers to raise approximately $200,000 and contribute 30,000 hours of volunteer service to the community each year.
