Habitat of Durham builds five homes, a playground and more through a week-long celebration
The Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange, & Chatham counties (HBADOC) and Habitat for Humanity built 10 homes in Durham, Orange and Chatham counties in 5 days during the week of May 31-June 5 as part of a national Habitat for Humanity Home Builders Blitz. Nationwide more than 250 homes were built during this week.

More than 100 guests attended the Friends of Fred Fundraiser held at the Concept Home hosted by York Simpson Underwood Neighborhood Marketing. Food and beverage was catered by Green Planet Catering. Donations received benefit WakeMed Foundation’s efforts to expand pediatric serves at WakeMed North Healthplex. The final amount raised was $9,025.

Local real estate industry professionals donated to benefit WakeMed Children's Services in honor of the late O'Neal, one of the area's most well-known real estate figures.
