If you haven’t heard of Amberly (and we strongly suspect you have), please allow us this introduction. Located on the western edge of Cary, spanning the border of Wake and Chatham Counties and less than a mile from Research Triangle Park, Amberly is Wake County’s 2006 top selling master-planned community. It consists of approximately 1,100 acres, including space for approximately 5,000 homesites, office and retail opportunities, an amenity-filled Residents’ Center, a 19-acre lake, miles of trails, and 276 acres of common areas. And that names just a few features of this outstanding new home community… It’s no wonder Amberly has gained the approval of so many homebuyers!
Owned by L.M. Sandler & Sons, Inc., Amberly was founded on four elements – Environment, Wellness, Technology, and Education – as a means of providing residents with a well-balanced lifestyle.
Privately held real estate development and management firm GS Carolina, L.M. Sandler & Sons development partner, created the concept of these elements. Principals David Guy and Tom Scott established GS Carolina in 2001 as a small business enterprise with a few projects in Charlotte.
Armed with passion and business experience, their venture has grown into a respected company specializing in uniquely located residential and mixed use communities in North and South Carolina.
GS Carolina was thrilled when asked to participate in The 2007 V Foundation Charity Home program. The company wholeheartedly supported the donation of the homesite for the Charity Home by L.M. Sandler & Sons.
“We’re honored Amberly was selected as the site for the Third Annual V Foundation Charity Home,” says GS Carolina’s Joe Cebina. “This was an extraordinary opportunity for everyone involved at Amberly, and we’re proud to have been a part of it.”
